Aadhar Card is an identity card issued to all citizens by the Government of India. A unique 12-digit number has been printed on the card issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). E-Aadhar received by India Post and downloaded from UIDAI website are equally valid.
An e-Aadhaar card is an electronic or virtual form of your regular Aadhaar card. You can use it instead of Aadhaar card for any verification. It also includes all the necessary information like your name, date of birth, Aadhaar number, photograph and biometric data. Let us tell you the easiest way to download Aadhaar card online
Visit Aadhaar’s official website https://uidai.gov.in/.
Click the Download Support option in the My Support menu.

Here you will see three options – Aadhaar, Enrollment ID and Virtual ID.
If you have an Aadhaar card number, then select the Aadhaar option.
Now you have to enter the 12 digit base number.
Enter the captcha code for verification and click on the Send OTP option
An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter this OTP.
Now click on the Verify and Download option.
This way, e-support will be downloaded to your device.
Keep in mind that the password for the downloaded Aadhaar card file will be eight characters long. You have to write the first 4 letters of the name given in the Aadhaar card and then the year of birth. Even if you do not remember your Aadhaar number or registration number, you can download e-Aadhaar online by entering your name and date of birth. For this, you have to generate your Aadhaar number from UIDAI website.
